One region, ten authorities, no shared rulebook

Latin America is not a single market. Each country runs its own register, its own authority and its own dossier requirements — and a product approved in one is not approved in the next.

One region, ten authorities, no shared rulebook

Latin America is not a single market. Each country runs its own register, its own authority and its own dossier requirements, and a product approved in one is not approved in the next. What does carry across is the method: start from the official register, score candidates on what can be verified, then check the rest by hand.

Colombia, Ecuador and Peru are built and current. For the rest we are straight with you about how much groundwork a market needs before it is worth your budget.

Colombia Live dataset
ICA — Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario

Registration under Resolución 10204 de 2017. Our deepest dataset: 2,346 distributors from 22,235 active registrations, covering veterinary medicines and animal feed, with import and sourcing history per distributor.

Ecuador Live dataset
AGROCALIDAD

421 distributors from 9,340 active registrations. Better structured than Colombia: importers are named explicitly, companies carry a tax ID, and manufacturer origin is stated outright.

Mexico On request
SENASICA

The largest animal-health market in the region, and usually the first question a European manufacturer asks about.

Brazil On request
MAPA

The largest commercial cattle herd in the world. Portuguese-language dossiers and a distinct regulatory culture.

Peru Live dataset
SENASA — SIGIA

560 companies from 21,614 active registrations, and the region’s largest feed register. The only market that dates its registrations, so we can tell you who is actually still active.

Chile On request
SAG

Strong salmon and export livestock sectors, with correspondingly demanding documentation.

Argentina On request
SENASA

Major beef and dairy production, with its own registration route and local manufacturing base.

Also covered
Uruguay · Paraguay · Bolivia

Smaller markets, often approached as an extension of a Southern Cone entry rather than on their own.
